Welcome to TenTen Sinclair. TenTen is a 75 suite wheelchair accessible apartment complex which offers a transitional independent living program. The three storey complex is located in the Garden City area of Winnipeg, Manitoba.
This tour will show and describe some of physical amenities of the building.
Adjacent to the entrance of the building is an accessible landscaped courtyard with raised flower beds.
The suite mailboxes, located on the main floor, have been lowered to allow for easy wheelchair access. A ledge has been added to provide a work area to sort and handle mail.
The basement, second and third floors are accessible by elevator, which has lowered elevator call buttons.
Hallway widths have have been designed to allow for easy passage of two people using wheelchairs.
Guard rails have been installed in all corridors to decrease maintenance of walls, and increase safety of individuals, from indiscriminate maneuvering of wheelchairs.
